How can I add extra credit within my Grade Center?
Adding an Extra Credit Assignment
In order to be considered "extra credit," the column within the Grade Center must be set up with a value of "0.01" points possible so those who do not do the extra credit do not have it held against them. Any points added to the column will be added individually to the total column.
To add an Extra Credit assignment, complete the following steps:
To add extra credit within your Grade Center, select one of your courses. Welcome tab > My Courses.
Go to Course Management within the Side Navigation Menu > Control Panel > Grade Center > Full Grade Center.
- Click the Create Column button.
- Enter the Column Name (Extra Credit).
Enter a Description (good practice here is to add a note how many
extra credit points are available).
- Enter the points 0.01 for Points Possible.
- Click the Submit button.
