Answer

To prepare for the next semester, faculty members identified as lead faculty (i.e., those responsible for Template course shells) need to review and verify that content in ALL Template shells is correct.  These were previously refered to as Masters and it only applied to Online & Blended courses. These template course shells will be used as sources and will have their content copied into corresponding running semester class sections.

Automatic Transfer of Student Final Grades from Blackboard Learn to PeopleSoft

This feature allows student final grades including letter grades, incompletes, and satisfactory / unsatisfactory that are entered into the Grade Center of a Blackboard class shell to be automatically transferred to PeopleSoft. Once a grade is transferred from Blackboard Learn to PeopleSoft, any changes to that grade must be done in PeopleSoft. Currently, this process does not accommodate "No Shows." These will still need to be entered directly into PeopleSoft.

For information on setting up your Grade Center to enable this feature, review this knowledgebase article: http://nwtech.libanswers.com/a.php?qid=683414

Last Date of Attendance Column in Blackboard Learn Grade Center

Students’ last date of attendance (related to a failing grade) can be automatically transferred from Blackboard Learn to PeopleSoft. For information on setting this column up in your Grade Center, please reference the knowledgebase: http://nwtech.libanswers.com/a.php?qid=792333
